Coracle
Coracles I build for the sake of whimsy. These beautiful light boats were once common throughout the British Isles, but today are found only in Wales and Scotland. In the early 1900's, coracles were such efficient fishing boats, that their use was restricted, then later prohibited, to prevent the extermination of salmon.
Coracles are designed for use on streams and rivers, weight well under 20 lbs. and are fun to paddle. The fun-per-pound (and dollar) ratio is probably the best of all the Brewery Creek Small Boat Shop boats.
